N MAY 13, senior executives from throughout
the Canadian public sector infrastructure
landscape came together at the Vancouver
Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel
to celebrate more than $300 billion in
infrastructure megaproject development at
the third annual Top100 Projects Key Players and
Owners Dinner.
BC Hydro CEO Chris O’Riley provided keynote remarks at
the event.
“As British Columbia’s leading electricity provider, serving
over 昀椀ve million customers, our work goes far beyond keeping
the lights on—we’re here to strengthen energy security, expand
clean power and drive long-term economic prosperity,” he told
the audience.
“We are also driving some of the largest and most exciting
capital projects in British Columbia right now—creating
thousands of jobs and infrastructure opportunities throughout
the province.”
“Looking ahead, we know the critical role energy plays
in economic stability, and supporting your businesses, your
customer, and communities.
“And BC Hydro is committed to ensuring continued the
continued supply of renewable, secure and reliable power for
British Columbians.
Work is now underway to develop the 2026 edition of the
Top100 Projects report. Project and stakeholder submissions
