Peter Filato, Corina Moore
WSP in Canada announced Peter Filato as its new
chief financial officer and Corina Moore as the company’s new executive vice president for Transportation and
Infrastructure. Moore previously served as the president
and CEO of Ontario Northland. Most recently, Filato was the CFO at Telecon, a leading
telecom network design and construction firm and connectivity services provider. He
has over 25 years of experience in finance, starting as an auditor, eventually moving
into various finance roles at AtkinsRéalis and later moving to Alcan and then Gildan
Activewear. Corina spent 17 years with Ontario Northland, joining the company in
2005 as its director of Telecommunications.
Chris Gower, Todd Craigen
The PCL family of companies announced the appointment
of Chris Gower to deputy chief executive officer and
Todd Craigen to COO and president, Corporate Services.
Gower has been with PCL for 28 years and previously led
the organization’s buildings division in Canada, the United States and Australia. Craigen
has been with PCL for 27 years, most recently president, Eastern Canada. In this new role,
he will continue to oversee the Toronto and Solar districts and take on responsibility for
corporate services departments including business technology, human resources, professional development, integrated construction services, and marketing and communications.
Anne-Marie Langlois
COWI in North America announced that Anne-Marie Langlois has been
appointed vice president of operations in Canada. Anne-Marie joined
COWI in 2011 after completing her Master’s in Engineering at Laval
University. She has progressed from a junior bridge engineer to associate technical director and head of section to her current position. Langlois has gained
a breadth of experience in durability assessments and service life design on multiple
major bridges, including the George Massey Tunnel Project in Vancouver.
Jennifer Campeau
AECON announced Jennifer Campeau as its new vice president of Indigenous Relations. Campeau is a member of the Anishinaabe from Yellowquill
First Nation with kinship ties to the Eastern Region III Metis Nation of
Saskatchewan. With over 20 years of Indigenous policy experience, she
will oversee and evolve Aecon’s Indigenous Relations activities—driving its Indigenous partnerships and organizational actions supporting its Reconciliation Action Plan.
Miguel Morrissette
Infrastructure BC announced Miguel Morrissette as assistant vice
president. He brings nearly two decades of executive experience in
program delivery, strategic policy, stakeholder and partner engagement, contract negotiations, FPT relations, finance, and legislation in
different sectors. He most recently held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister/Vice
President with the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement.
Jaime Freyre De Andrade, Éric
Gaudet, Vincent Martel
Pomerleau announced three major
hires for leadership roles: Jaime
Freyre De Andrade as chief operating
officer for major projects, Éric Gaudet as executive vice-president of operational
excellence and strategy, and Vincent Martel, executive vice-president and chief
financial officer. In his previous role at AtkinsRéalis, Freyre De Andrade was senior vice
president and project director at NouvLR, the consortium responsible for building the
Réseau express métropolitain (REM). Gaudet connects the IT, innovation, integrated
management systems, quality, and strategy teams together to improve business performance. Martel leads Pomerleau Capital, the company’s private investment arm in
infrastructure and renewable energy.
Chris Smith, Harrison Glotman
Michael Lindsay
Infrastructure Ontario’s Board of Directors announced the extension of
Michael Lindsay’s appointment as Infrastructure Ontario’s President
and CEO for another three-year term. With the full support of the Board,
Lindsay has worked closely with IO’s executive team to set ambitious
strategic goals for the next three years to continue to move the agency forward.
Consulting engineering firm Glotman Simpson appointed as principals, Chris Smith and Harrison Glotman.
Smith, MS, PE, SE brings a wealth of experience to our
team as a licensed civil and structural engineer.. His
journey with Glotman Simpson began in 2016 when he spearheaded the establishment of our Los Angeles office. Since joining Glotman Simpson in 2017, Harrison, MS,
PE, SE has lent his expertise to a diverse portfolio of projects, encompassing Mass
Timber offices, steel schools, and concrete towers.
Allyson Desgroseilliers
The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Canada (ACEC)
announced that Allyson Desgroseilliers, P.Eng., vice president of
Environmental Management for Earth & Environment, Prairies and North
at WSP Canada was named chair of the ACEC Board of Directors for
the 2023-2024 term. Desgroseilliers first joined the ACEC-Canada Board in 2018 and
served as its treasurer as well as chair of its Planning and Governance Committees. She
is also a past chair of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Manitoba.
Freda Leong
Associated Engineering (AE) announced Freda Leong, P.Eng. as
national leader, Indigenous Communities. In her role, she will collaborate with staff, providing strategic input and advice on business
development, proposals, and projects to expand AE’s work and support
project delivery for Indigenous Communities. Leong will also continue as manager,
Indigenous Infrastructure and Project Manager, supported by the Infrastructure and
Water teams in BC. Leong started her career with Sydney Water (Australia) in system
management and asset solutions, before moving to Canada and joining AE in 2004.
Shaun Fantauzz, Luticia Miller
The First Nations Major Projects Coalition (FNMPC)
announced Shaun Fantauzzo as the vice president of
Policy and Major Projects and Luticia Miller as vice
president of Project Development. Fantauzzo brings a
wealth of knowledge and expertise, having spent nearly a decade in progressively senior
positions in the federal government, notably at Finance Canada and Natural Resources
Canada. With a notable career spanning over 20 years in diverse major projects, Miller
brings a wealth of expertise across various sectors including oil and gas, renewables,
power, and infrastructure.

Duncan Young
J.L. Richards & Associates Limited (JLR) announced the appointment
of Duncan Young, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., to alternative delivery market
chief. He will be responsible for the development and management of
design and construction projects delivered through alternative delivery
contract models such as design-build, integrated project delivery, and public private
partnerships. With 16 years of experience, Duncan possesses a solid foundation and
extensive knowledge in the design and construction of buildings and structures.
