$2.8 BILLION
The Broadway Subway Project will see the addition of
six underground stations and 5.7 kilometres of track to the
Millennium Line. The extension will run from VCC-Clark Station to Arbutus Street; 700 metres will be elevated guideway

HEALTHCARE
The Ottawa Hospital
New Campus Development
$2.8 BILLION
The Ottawa Hospital’s new campus will serve the greater Ottawa and Eastern Ontario
region, Western Quebec, and Nunavut. The new hospital will feature highly specialized inpatient,
outpatient, emergency, and trauma services. Physicians and staff will treat the most complex
adult injuries and illnesses. This world-class centre for academic training and medical research
will be networked with partners in Ontario, across Canada and around the world.
Construction began in fall 2022 on the parking garage that will support the hospital. A
Request for Proposals seeking a design and development team for the main hospital building
was issued November 2022 and closed October 2023. At the conclusion of the RFP process,
the successful bidder will work in collaboration with Infrastructure Ontario, The Ottawa Hospital
and the Ministry of Health under a Development Phase Agreement, to further define and refine
project requirements, and design, pricing and risk parameters.

LRT
Valley Line West LRT
$2.6 BILLION
The Valley Line West LRT project is the next phase of Edmonton’s light rail transit
expansion. This project represents a 14-kilometre extension from downtown Edmonton to
Lewis Farms in west Edmonton. The low-floor, community-integrated, urban-style LRT will
help move more people along key corridors as Edmonton grows into a city of two million
over the coming decades. In 2023, Marigold Infrastructure Partners entered its second
year of major construction. Work this year has included: utility relocations and road works,
installation of girders for the new Stony Plain Road Bridge, work on the elevated guideway
and two elevated stations at West Edmonton Mall and the Misericordia Community Hospital, site preparations at street-level stops, piling work for the bridge at Anthony Henday
Drive, and further work on the storage facility at Lewis Farms and the Gerry Wright operations and maintenance facility. In spring 2023, a major project milestone was achieved
when Hyundai Rotem Company, the supplier of 46 light rail vehicles (LRVs) for Valley Line
West, delivered a full-scale mock-up to Edmonton for user and accessibility testing.
