Thomas Clochard
Aecon announced that Thomas Clochard has been appointed
to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating
Officer. Since joining Aecon in 2019 as Executive Lead & Senior
Vice President, Nuclear, Clochard has progressively expanded his
leadership role at Aecon, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Nuclear
and Civil. Prior to joining Aecon, Mr. Clochard held various leadership roles at
Eiffage, including Chief Executive Officer, Canada, as well as progressively senior
roles at Vinci.
Cassandra Pacey
The Canadian Network of Asset Managers (CNAM) announced
the appointment of Cassandra Pacey as CNAM’s chair of the
Board of Directors for 2025-26. Pacey is a Chartered Professional
Accountant, Certified General Accountant, and the Manager of
Asset Management at the City of Waterloo. Drawing on her 25 years of diverse
experience in both the public and private sectors, Cassandra’s responsibilities
include managing the City’s Asset Management team and its custom-built decision
support system.
Louis G. Véronneau
AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. announced that Louis G. Véronneau will
rejoin AtkinsRéalis as Chief Operating Officer, based in Montréal.
Véronneau brings over 30 years of leadership experience across
investment management, infrastructure, industrials, and legal
sectors. He most recently served as Senior Managing Director and Global Head
of Real Estate Investments at PSP Investments. He previously served as Executive
Vice-President and Chief Transformation Officer at AtkinsRéalis. His earlier career
includes senior roles at Bombardier, TD Securities, and Abitibi-Consolidated.
Pria Sandhu
The BC Society of Engineering and Geoscience (BCSEG) announced the
appointment of Pria Sandhu as Chief Executive Officer. Sandhu has over
25 years of experience in strategic and operational leadership, advocacy,
and senior corporate business skills. Most recently, Sandhu led marketing
and professional affairs at Johnson and Johnson Medtech-Vision Canada. She has also
served as the CEO of the BC Doctors of Optometry and the executive director of Resident
Doctors of BC.
Dan Tobin
Ledcor announced the promotion of Dan Tobin to Chief Operating Officer,
Energy & Petrochemical. Moving from the position of Senior Vice President,
Pipeline, Dan will oversee the Industrial and Pipeline groups. He joined
Ledcor in 2004 as a Project Controls Manager and quickly advanced
through key leadership roles across Ledcor’s Pipeline, Industrial, Infrastructure and Heavy
Civil & Mining groups. Dan is a professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
John Van der Put
Engineers Canada appointed John Van der Put, FEC, FGC (Hon.), P.Eng.,
as President for the 2025–2026 term. Van der Put is an energy industry
executive with 38 years of experience in upstream oil, gas, and pipeline
development across the Americas. He has been very active at the
Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta over the past 15 years
as a Councillor, on the Discipline Committee and as the 2020-21 President.
Michael Quast
Passive House Canada announced the appointment of Michael Quast
as CEO. Quast brings more than two decades of leadership experience
spanning construction, sustainability, brand development, and
stakeholder engagement. His accomplishments include designing and
building Oakville’s first straw bale home, spearheading award-winning branding initiatives
with The Holmes Group, and shaping regulatory and consumer protection strategies
in Ontario’s new home warranty program.

Woodbeck
CIMA+ announced
four key leadership appointments: Cian Murphy, Senior Vice President, Major
Projects; Mathieu Lemay, Vice President, Hydropower and Dams; Kelly Frensch,
Executive Director, Water–Ontario; and Matt Woodbeck, Executive Director, Water–
Ontario. Murphy joined CIMA+ in 2015, and has over 20 years of international
experience in the industry, and in-depth expertise in project delivery models, risk
management and business development. Lemay, with over 23 years of industry
experience, joined CIMA+ in 2016. Since February 2023, he has led the strategic
direction and multidisciplinary teams for this market across Canada. Frensch has
over 17 years of industry experience, including the past eight years at CIMA+ and
was named a partner in 2020. Woodbeck has nearly 20 years of experience in the
planning, design and delivery of complex wastewater infrastructure projects.
Campbell Chow, David Regehr
Thurber Engineering Ltd. appointed Campbell Chow as
President and CEO and David Regehr as Chieft Operating
Officer. Campbell joined Thurber in 1993. He has extensive
experience in construction materials engineering services
for infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects. A Partner since 2005 and Managing
Director since 2015, Campbell is based in Edmonton. Regehr, a Partner and Senior
Geotechnical Engineer based in Vancouver, has been with Thurber for more than 25
years. He brings a wealth of experience in geotechnical, geological, and environmental
engineering.
Michael Jackson
The Consulting Engineers of Alberta announced Michael Jackson
as its new president for the 2025-26 Board term. WSP’s Vice
President of Mechanical and Electrical for Western Canada, Jackson
has spent his whole life in Alberta. Born in Calgary, he attended the
University of Alberta and has spent more than 13 years with WSP, having started
with the company as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Alexandra Chouinard
The Board of Directors of the Port of Sept-Îles announced the appointment
of Alexandra Chouinard as President and CEO. Chouinard has held expert
and management positions, notably within the Project Office of ArcelorMittal Mines Canada and was also the first woman to be appointed Director
in the Engineering and Projects group since the founding of the Quebec Cartier Mining
Company in 1957.
