Broadway
Subway Extension
$2.8 BILLION
The Broadway Subway Project will see the addition of six underground stations and 5.7 kilometres of track to the Millennium Line. The extension will run
from VCC-Clark Station to Arbutus Street; 700 metres will be elevated guideway
and the remainder will be tunneled. The commute from VCC-Clark to Arbutus
Station will take 11 minutes, saving the average transit commuter almost 30
minutes a day and will relieve congestion along Broadway. In 2024, tunnel
boring operations finished, marking the completion of the most technically
complex and challenging part of the new subway construction.

HEALTHCARE
The Ottawa Hospital
New Campus
$2.8 BILLION
The Ottawa Hospital’s New Campus Redevelopment
project is being delivered using a progressive publicprivate partnership (P3) approach that fosters a
collaborative development of project requirements,
design, pricing, schedule, and risk management. In
early 2024, Infrastructure Ontario and The Ottawa
Hospital signed a Development Phase Agreement with
The Ottawa Hospital Build Partners. The parties will work
to advance the design and confirm fixed pricing. Once
the Development Phase is complete, it is expected that
The Ottawa Hospital Build Partners will enter into a
fixed-price Project Agreement with The Ottawa Hospital
to design, build, finance, and maintain the new Campus
Redevelopment project.
