The Île-aux-Tourtes bridge, which
was commissioned in 1965, is located
on autoroute Félix-Leclerc (autoroute
40) and links the island of Montréal
(village of Senneville) and the
Montérégie region (city of VaudreuilDorion). This key structure is part of
the strategic road network supporting
trade. To ensure its sustainability, it will
be rebuilt north of the existing bridge.
The new bridge will include: three lanes
in each direction; a multipurpose path;
and wide shoulders designed for bus
traffic only.
