The new four lane crossing is being built to modern safety standards and features
wider lanes to better accommodate passenger and commercial vehicles, a centre
median barrier, dedicated multi-use pathways for walking and cycling that are
separated from traffic on both sides of the bridge and is designed to accommodate
potential future expansion to six lanes. The new bridge will be located just upstream
and northeast of the existing bridge and will include new on and off ramps to connect
the new bridge with the existing road network.

The Portage III complex, currently serving as Public Services and Procurement Canada’s headquarters, is the
largest of the four buildings that comprise the Place du Portage federal campus in Gatineau, Que. The renewal of
Portage III encompasses a complete overhaul of both the inside and outside of the building, including modernized
activity-based workplaces; a new energy-efficient building envelope and heating; (HVAC) system; a new accessible
entrance and a completely revamped main entrance; and improved landscaping.

new CAMH buildings on Queen Street West to replace
existing facilities for patients with complex mental
illness who have encountered the legal system,

facility. The Temerty Discovery Centre will consolidate
current CAMH research from across the city into one
centralized location. The Waverley House Secure Care
& Recovery Building is a Ministry of Health funded project to redevelop CAMH’s existing facilities for patients
with mental illness who have encountered the law.
