The project is located between boulevard Saint-Martin Est,
in Laval, and boulevard Industriel, in Bois-des-Filion. It will be
developed along the current axis of route335 and will extend
over 11.8 kilometres. A dual carriageway urban freeway with three
lanes in each direction, including dedicated transit lanes, will be
constructed.
The project includes: construction of four new interchanges;
redevelopment of the autoroute 640 and route 335 interchange;
construction of a new bridge located east of the Athanase-David
bridge; repair of the current Athanase-David bridge; redevelopment
and extension of the multipurpose path for pedestrians, cyclists,
and off-road vehicle users; reconfiguration of the service roads at near

autoroute 440 and autoroute 19; and development
of a bus terminal and park-and-ride facility.
HIGHWAY
Route 185 Phase III
$883 MILLION
This nearly 40-kilometre conversion to
two-lane divided Highway is the final step in the
conversion of Route 185 to Autoroute 85, also
known as Autoroute Claude-Béchard. The final
portion runs from Saint-Antonin to Saint Louis-duHa!-Ha!, connecting Autoroute 20 at Notre-Damedu-Portage to the New Brunswick border.
Work got underway in August 2019 and four of
the seven sections have been commissioned.

The Richmond Hospital Redevelopment Project
will be conducted over four phases between 2022
and 2031. It is currently in Phase one: Park Centre
and Rotunda decant and demolition. This project
includes a new nine-floor acute care tower – the
Yurkovich Family Pavilion – that will add 113 new
beds to the hospital bringing the total to 353
beds. This project will feature a state-of-the art
emergency department and intensive care unit,
a fully equipped medical imaging department, a
pharmacy and short-stay pediatrics unit to bring
more services and better care for people in the
growing Richmond community. The South Tower and
the Milan Ilich Pavilon will also be renovated.
