ABOVE AND BELOW
Above ground construction is rapidly progressing on
the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE) project.
Residents will see less above ground construction, as
tunnel boring machines dig away at the 6.2-kilometre
twin tunnels that lie below their feet. The extension will
add 9.2 kilometres of new rapid transit service along
the future Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
