PCL Construction announced leadership changes in five of its Canadian districts.
Greg Northcott, Terry Lefebvre
Egis announced that Greg Northcott joined the
firm as CEO in Canada and Terry Lefebvre as CFO
for North America. Northcott joins with 20 years of
experience in the engineering, construction, and
environmental services sectors. He has held numerous strategic roles, including EVP at
MasTec Canada Inc. and COO at WSP Canada. Lefebvre brings a wealth of experience
in leveraging digital transformation to drive profitability and growth, and in M&A and
integration. His previous roles include Interim CFO at WSP Canada.
Peter Lantin
The Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) announced that Peter
Lantin has been appointed as chair by its Board of Directors
for a two-year term. Lantin has over two decades of experience
in financial administration and governance and was the elected
President of the Haida Nation from 2012 to 2018. He was also the COO for TRICORP,
an Indigenous-owned capital corporation that supports and finances economic development initiatives, local entrepreneurs and small business, and skills and training
for Indigenous communities.
Man Jauha, Houtan Seirafian,
Brad Chin
Comtech, part of Accenture, announced three new appointments
to its capital projects leadership
team. Man Jauha has been appointed as executive vice president of Energy
and Resources, Houtan Seirafian has been promoted to senior vice president,
Program Delivery, Controls and Technology, and Brad Chin has been appointed as
vice president of Project Management and Construction Management. Man brings
over two decades of experience delivering complex projects and programs in energy
and utilities, buildings, transportation, and infrastructure. He joins Comtech from
IPEX Group of Companies. Houtan has over 25 years of experience and has been
instrumental in driving Comtech’s growth through the integration of advanced digital
solutions and innovative program management techniques. Chan, with a distinguished career spanning three decades, brings a wealth of experience in consulting,
engineering, design, construction and management. He joins Comtech from Stantec.
Geoff Howe has been promoted to senior vice president and
district manager for its Toronto office, assuming overall responsibilities for PCL’s operations in the Greater Toronto Area and southwestern
Ontario. He has spent his entire 17-year construction career with PCL.
He was hired as an estimator in Toronto and has held leadership
positions in Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Vancouver. In 2022, Howe returned to his
hometown of Ottawa to become district manager and co-lead one of PCL’s fastest-growing offices in Canada.
Mathew Baranowski has been promoted to district manager for
its Ottawa office overseeing district operations throughout the Ottawa
region. He joined PCL as a field engineer in Winnipeg in 2010, then
progressed to project manager. In 2020, he moved to the Edmonton
office as manager, Special Projects. In 2022, Baranowski was
promoted to operations manager for BC Region.
Mike Zurowski has been promoted to district manager of its
Regina office. He will oversee projects throughout Southern Saskatchewan. With PCL Regina now for 24 years, Zurowski has grown his
career in Saskatchewan where, through progressive roles—including
eight years in the role of manager of Special Projects—he has been
involved in the delivery of hundreds of projects. Most recently, he was promoted to
operations manager in 2021.
Jordan Clouthier has been promoted to vice president and district
manager for its Calgary office. He will lead and oversee PCL’s
operations in Southern Alberta. He began his career with PCL’s Ottawa
office in 2008 as a field engineer and later progressed to construction coordinator and then project manager. Clouthier became
manager of Special Projects in 2019 and was promoted to district manager for
Regina in 2022.
Ryan Andrews has been promoted to district manager for its BC
Region operations, located in Richmond. He will provide leadership
and direction as PCL continues its growth in the commercial,
institutional, transportation, and civil sectors. Andrews joined PCL in
2012 as a field engineer with the U.S. Civil division and in 2018
relocated from Seattle to Vancouver, where he was promoted to the role of construction manager and tasked with leading the Civil Infrastructure Division for the region.
