Jack Winberg
Jack Winberg has been appointed chair of the Board of Directors of
Waterfront Toronto. Winberg has served on Waterfront Toronto’s Board
of Directors since his appointment by the City of Toronto in June 2019.
Currently the CEO of Rockport Group, he is also a founding director of
ClubLink Corporation, and continues as a director of TWC Enterprises.
Joshua Hale
Stantec announced the appointment of Joshua Hale to regional
business leader for the firm’s Buildings practice in the Canada East
region. Hale, a 13-year Stantec veteran, will apply his strategic business
acumen and leadership excellence to guide regional business efforts in
collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across Canada. His project work at Stantec
is diverse—spanning airports, civic, commercial, federal, and other markets across the
Canada East region.
Meggen Janes
The Canadian Brownfields Network named Meggen Janes as its new
executive director. Janes has worked in the Canadian brownfields sector
for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Geosyntec in 2021, she was the
director of Soil and Groundwater Management and Brownfield Approvals at Waterfront Toronto. She spent six years on the Board of Directors of CBN prior to
being named executive director. She served the Board in a number of roles, including
the past four years as the co-chair of the conference committee.
Don Holland
The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Ontario
announced the appointment of its 2023-2024 board of directors,
including Don Holland, a water market executive with GHD, as board
chair. The six newly elected board members are: Nikos Chalaris, AECOM
Canada; Domenica D’Amico, WSP Canada; Matthew Eades, Associated Engineering;
Ryan Matthews, J.L. Richards & Associates; Derek Potvin, Robinson Consultants; and
Valery Woloshyn, Stantec Consulting.
CIMA+
CIMA+ announced a series of important appointments to its team.
“These appointments demonstrate the impressive momentum at CIMA+ and its
appeal to talented professionals,” said CIMA+ president and CEO Denis Thivierge.
The appointments are as follows:
· Dominique Brault has been appointed
senior vice president, Transportation.
· Timothée Lescop has been appointed
senior vice president, Resources and Industry markets.
· Paul Chamberland has been appointed senior vice president, IT.
· Christine Lavoie, P.Eng., PMP, VMA, has been appointed
senior vice president, Project Management.
· Mike Cabral has been appointed
senior vice president, Energy markets.
· Ian Olechnowicz has been appointed
senior vice president, Buildings.
· Karl Olechnowicz, P.Eng., has been appointed
vice president, Transmission and Distribution market.
· Geneviève Santerre, P.Eng., has been appointed
vice president, Resources and Industry markets, Quebec.
